Question 1: How far can Retevis RT50 transmit?

Answer 1: Ideally 2 to 5 miles. (Affected by terrain and environment)

Question 2: Can the RT50 be used with repeaters?

Answer 2: Yes, they can be used together. You need to set the RT50's TX frequency to the repeater's RX frequency, and set the RT50's RX frequency to the repeater's TX frequency.

Question 3: Can Retevis RT50 be used with RT81?

Answer 3: Yes, they can work together. Please make sure they have the same frequency and CTCSS/DCS in analog mode, or the same frequency and color code in digital mode.

Question 4: What is RT50 encryption compatible with?
Answer 4:
1. The encryption of the old version RT50 is compatible with RT50 and RT81.
2. The new version of RT50 encryption is compatible with the old version of RT50 (10 keys).
3. In addition to 10-key encryption, the new version of RT50 adds 32-key encryption, which is compatible with Motorola AES128 encryption; it also adds 64-key encryption, which is compatible with Motorola AES256 encryption. For the above encryption, please set it up with the latest software.
