Set NOAA for Retevis RA86 GMRS Tractor Radio

Short press WX to enter NOAA weather scan

You can let Retevis RA86 GMRS Tractor Radio enter NOAA weather scan from GMRS channel directly through WX key.

NOAA Weather Scan will automatically scan the 10 available Weather (WX) band channels and lock onto the strongest weather channel to alert you to severe weather updates.

Weather forecast channel scanning mode, stop at the weather channel where the signal is received.

You can also switch the weather channel by short press the channel plus and minus keys on the microphone. Press and hold PTT or short press the WX button again to exit the weather mode.

Set Retevis RA86 GMRS Tractor Radio NOAA Weather Alert

When the Retevis RA86 GMRS Tractor Radio is in the weather forecast scanning mode, short press the Scan/Mon button, the weather forecast scanning function is turned off, and the squelch is turned on at the same time.

Short press SCAN/MON key to stop NOAA weather scan

and then change the weather channel through the channel key.

Use channel change key to change NOAA channels

When the alarm channel you want to set is selected, short press the MENU button to enter the weather forecast alarm switch setting.NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm indicating that there is a risk of severe weather in your area.

Select ON/OFF through the volume keys, press and hold the MENU key again to complete the setting and return to the weather channel.

When the alarm function is enabled:
When Retevis RA86 is in the weather channel mode, any channel receiving 1050HZ alarm modulation will trigger the weather forecast alarm.

When Retevis RA86 is on the GMR channel, it will also watch the weather channel (the weather channel to watch is the channel where the user exits the weather forecast).

When the Radio receives the signal of the alarm channel you set, it will alarm in this mode.
